The Greater Sudbury Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in locating an individual involved in a shoplifting incident.
On May 21st 2010 at approximately 6:15 p.m. members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service attended Dumas Your Independent Grocers at 82 Lorne Street in the City of Greater Sudbury as the store employees apprehended a shoplifter.
Upon arrival it was determined that a fifteen year old resident of Stoney Creek, Ontario had stolen approximately $30 worth of food items. The teenager had been in the company of a thirty year old male who fled the scene upon the teenager's apprehension. Further investigation revealed that the youth had been reported missing from his residence in Stoney Creek. The youth was held for bail providing the opportunity to have him returned to his family.
Police are seeking any information about the thirty year old male in an effort to determine his involvement in the disappearence of the youth. Anyone with information regarding his identity should contact the Greater Sudbury Police Service and/or Crime Stoppers.
